National Grid plc in Albany is seeking two Fleet Technician A positions (C Vacancy). Starting pay rate is $37.81/hour with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k) and generous paid time off.
Under direct supervision, you will perform routine repairs and maintenance on fleet equipment (e.g., brakes, valve seats) and assist higher-grade Fleet Technicians. A valid NY license, multiple ASE certs, and a strong mechanic background are required.
We are presently seeking to fill 2 Fleet Technician A (C Vacancy) positions at our Albany location, with a minimum starting pay rate of $37.81. Under direct supervision to perform ordinary types of repairs and maintenance work on equipment, such as adjusting and relining brakes, grinding valve seats, refacing and adjusting valves; and to assist Fleet Technicians of a higher grade.
