Job summary

zTrip is seeking a qualified Fleet Tech to maintain and repair our growing fleet, ensuring safety and peak performance. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and document service logs to minimize downtime.

Join a team that values safety, teamwork, and technical expertise. Weekend availability may be required for 2nd shift operations to support a large transportation network.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Fleet Tech or similar role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical/electrical issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles to maximize reliability.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues.
• Conduct detailed inspections for safety and readiness.
• Repair/replace brakes, steering, suspension, electrical systems, tires, and related components.
• Complete repairs efficiently with high workmanship standards.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve vehicle concerns.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and service logs.
• Minimize downtime through proactive maintenance and timely repairs.
• Suggest preventative solutions to extend vehicle life and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with operations to meet fleet readiness goals.
• Prioritize repairs based on vehicle availability and demand.
• Support maintenance programs to improve fleet reliability.
