zTrip is seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair a large fleet of taxis. You will diagnose mechanical issues, perform repairs, and keep vehicles road-ready while minimizing downtime in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service on fleet vehicles

• Complete work orders accurately and maintain detailed records

We're looking for an experienced and dependable Fleet Mechanic to help maintain and repair our growing fleet of vehicles while minimizing downtime and ensuring peak performance.

Your Role as a Fleet Mechanic

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service on fleet vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Repair and replace components including brakes, suspension systems, steering components, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
• Complete work orders accurately and maintain detailed maintenance records
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve vehicle problems efficiently
• Work closely with the maintenance team to prioritize repairs and meet fleet service requirements
• Support efforts to minimize vehicle downtime through proactive maintenance and timely repairs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

What We're Looking for in a Fleet Mechanic

• Previous experience as a Fleet Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Automotive Technician, or Heavy-Duty Vehicle Technician preferred
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair procedures
• Experience working on fleet vehicles in a transportation, commercial, or automotive environment is a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
• Dependable, motivated, and safety-focused
• Valid driver's license required
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required
