Job summary

zTrip PA is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair a growing fleet, perform diagnostics, and ensure road-ready vehicles for daily operations.

You will conduct preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and perform repairs to reduce downtime and extend vehicle life while keeping drivers on the road safely.

In this role, you'll perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs that keep our vehicles operating safely and efficiently. Your expertise will play a critical role in reducing downtime, extending vehicle life, and ensuring our drivers have reliable vehicles to serve our customers.

What You'll Do as a Fleet Mechanic

Fleet Maintenance & Repair

• Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, tire services, brake inspections, and scheduled vehicle maintenance
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues
• Troubleshoot performance concerns and complete repairs efficiently and accurately
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance standards are met
• Identify and address maintenance concerns before they become major repair issues
• Repair and replace components as needed to keep vehicles operating at peak performance

Fleet Operations Support

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair documentation, and service logs
• Ensure all fleet vehicles meet company safety and operational standards
• Work closely with operations and management teams to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist in preparing vehicles for daily service and operational readiness
• Support proactive maintenance efforts to maximize fleet reliability and efficiency

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Fleet Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Auto Mechanic, Fleet Technician, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair procedures
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, dependable, and safety-focused mindset
• Valid driver's license required
• ASE certifications are a plus, but not required
