Job summary

ManpowerGroup client in the transportation and autonomous vehicle sector is seeking a Fleet Support Engineer in Los Angeles, CA. You will join the Vehicle Development department, supporting the Fleet Support Engineering and Sustaining Team to drive reliable sensor performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in transportation, aerospace, or autonomous vehicles focusing on perception systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with low/high voltage circuits, UDS, and safety-troubleshooting protocols.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for real-time escalations for sensor-related fleet issues.
• Conduct in-depth root cause analysis through log review to identify and resolve fleet issues.
• Develop and maintain troubleshooting guides for technicians, incorporating new fault diagnoses and resolutions.
• Perform hardware bring-up and validation procedures for new sensor components such as LiDAR, radar, and cameras.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance tooling and improve issue detection capabilities, ensuring fleet reliability and performance.

• Understanding of hardware and software systems architecture, including communication protocols in an operational setting.
• Ability to interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector pinouts, with a holistic approach to problem-solving.
