Job summary

Nelson Connects in the Atlanta, GA area is seeking a hands-on Transportation Supervisor to lead our Georgia driver operations. You will directly supervise 20+ drivers, manage daily routes, and ensure safety, DOT/FMCSA compliance, and on-time deliveries.

The role offers a base salary of $75,000–$80,000 plus an annual bonus, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k), and generous PTO. Monday–Friday day shift.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of transportation/logistics supervisory experience.
• Food & beverage distribution, cold-chain, or route-delivery experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of truck driving experience preferred; CDL is a major plus.
• Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Experience with fleet/telematics tech (RoadNet, Geotab, Lytx, ELDs, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20+ drivers executing daily routes across Georgia.
• Drive safety and compliance; conduct spot inspections and ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new drivers; manage shift schedules and evaluations.
• Collaborate with warehouse, customer service, and sales to improve delivery operations.
