Job summary

MacAllister Machinery Co., Inc. seeks a Fleet Management Specialist to consult with customers, drive fleet optimization, and promote CAT technology solutions. You will coordinate with Product Support and Sales to target lifecycle management, component histories, and telematics deployment.

This role emphasizes training delivery, data-driven decisions, and collaborative problem-solving to maximize equipment uptime and customer value in a dynamic, equipment-heavy environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Associate’s degree, technical school certification, or equivalent hands‑on experience in a related field.
• 4 years or more of experience with Caterpillar equipment; Sales and/or Service with focus on digital technology offerings.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2 years of Fleet Management experience, with focus on Power Generation or Heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute MacAllister’s fleet management strategy with Product Support and Sales teams.
• Forecasting module focus on annual budgeting for internal and external use.
• Deliver training to customers and internal teams on VisionLink and CAT digital apps.
• Promote MacAllister’s Fleet Management options to educate customers.
• Manage inventory to ensure parts availability based on forecasted needs.
• Advise customers on fleet management issues with strategic solutions.
• Use telematics and health reports to recommend maintenance and reduce costs.
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver measurable value.
