Job summary

MGE Underground is seeking a Fleet Support Technician to organize the shop, oversee maintenance, and support fleet operations across our California locations. You will work with the shop foreman to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with company policies.

This on-site role requires a valid Class C license, physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and willingness to perform minor repairs and material handling. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift and front-end loader certification preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and reliability.
• Ability to read, understand and transmit written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Organize shop and maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Coordinate ordering, pickup, and distribution of parts for fleet.
• Lubricate and clean fleet equipment, apply decals and plates.
• Safely transport fleet equipment between sites and yards.
• Code and submit invoices with receipts to accounting.
• Assist with minor repairs and comply with safety rules.
