Job summary

MGE Underground is hiring a Fleet Support Technician to organize the shop, manage parts for the fleet, and ensure safe operation across job sites. The role involves lubricating equipment, applying decals and registrations, and transporting gear between locations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, forklift/front-end loader certification preferred, and a valid driver's license. On-site work with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Forklift and front-end loader certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment use in heavy/highway construction and inventory skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize the shop and maintain cleanliness for safe operations.
• Coordinate parts ordering, pickup, and distribution for fleet.
• Lubricate and clean fleet equipment; apply decals, plates, and registrations.
• Safely transport fleet equipment between sites and yards.
• Load/unload materials and assist with minor repairs as needed.
• Adhere to safety rules and PPE requirements; report hazards.
