Job summary

MGE Underground, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Support Technician to organize and maintain the shop, ensuring safe and smooth fleet operations across our California locations. You will coordinate parts, lubricate equipment, and support minor repairs while ensuring safety procedures are followed.

You will also transport equipment between sites, load/unload materials, and assist with invoicing and housekeeping tasks. A valid driver’s license and forklift experience are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience with heavy/highway construction equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organize the shop to keep it clean and safe.
• Coordinate parts ordering, pickup, and distribution for fleet.
• Lubricate and clean fleet equipment and apply decals/plates/registrations.
• Transport equipment between sites and travel if needed.
• Submit invoices and receipts to accounting.
• Load/unload materials from delivery trucks or company vehicles.
