Job summary

MGE Underground, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Support Technician at our Paso Robles headquarters. You will help keep the fleet – vehicles and equipment – organized, fueled, and available for daily operations across our California sites.

You will coordinate parts, perform routine maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety standards while supporting shop foremen and site crews as needed. This role is on-site with potential mobility across locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift and front-end loader preferred.
• Knowledge of safe use of equipment and inventory management.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Organize the shop and perform general maintenance and cleanup.
• Coordinate ordering, pickup, and distribution of parts for fleet.
• Lubricate and clean fleet equipment, apply decals, plates, and registration.
• Safely transport fleet equipment between jobsites, yards, and shop locations.
• Assist with minor repairs on equipment as directed and ensure safety compliance.
• Load and unload materials on/off delivery trucks or company vehicles.
• Maintain orderly work areas and manage hazardous waste materials safely.
