Job summary

MGE Underground, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Support Technician to ensure the efficient operation of fleet activities in Yuba City, California. This full-time, on-site role involves maintaining the shop, coordinating fleet parts, and performing minor repairs as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong organizational skills, and a valid Class C Driver’s License. Competitive pay ranges from $24.00 to $27.00 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and 401K.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the safe and proper use of equipment and tools.
• Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized shop.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the organization and maintenance of the shop.
• Coordinate ordering, pickup, and distribution of fleet parts.
• Safely transport fleet equipment across various locations.

Skills

Knowledge of equipment and tools

Strong organizational skills

Ability to work independently

Valid Class C Driver’s License

Certified to operate a forklift
