Job summary

Vanguard Truck Centers LLC in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Shop Foreman/Supervisor to lead the service department, ensure high-quality repairs, and maintain strong customer satisfaction. You will guide technicians, enforce uptime processes, and uphold safety and regulatory standards across the shop.

The role requires 2–4 years related experience and a CDL license (or timeframe to obtain it). Competitive salary and benefits are provided, with opportunities for growth within the network.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CDL license to be able to road test trucks.
• We can allow a certain amount of time (e.g., 6 months) to gain this certification if applicant doesn’t have it.

Responsibilities

• Be the Uptime expert and enforce the Volvo Uptime workflow.
• Recruits, hires, and motivates qualified service technicians.
• Assists technicians in developing their skills.
• Compliance with federal, state, local regulations affecting service operations (hazardous waste disposal, OSHA).
• Ensures repairs are assigned to technicians fairly and monitored.
