Job summary

ILR SERVICE 32, based in Montebello, CA, is seeking a full-time Service Manager to design and manage preventative maintenance programs for a lease and rental fleet. You will forecast department goals, build strong customer relationships, monitor performance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires heavy-duty truck knowledge, a GED or higher, and 3+ years of related experience, with leadership responsibilities and cost control experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary diploma or trades certification preferred.
• Heavy duty truck/equipment knowledge required.
• At least 3 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports.
• Strong leadership skills and professional conduct.
• Excellent customer relations skills and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements and maintains a preventative maintenance program.
• Forecasts goals and objectives for the department.
• Maintains relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Monitors performance using reports and surveys.
• Prepares annual operating budget for Lease & Rental fleet.
• Ensures safety and compliance with guidelines and regulations.
• Reviews repair orders and controls costs with warranties and policies.
