Job summary

Snider Fleet Solutions in Kentucky is seeking a Commercial Service Manager to provide daily direction and assign work orders to technicians. The role oversees work performed, ensures safety procedures are followed, and supports branch operations with training and team leadership.

Ideal candidates will have multiple years in commercial tire service, proficiency in MS Office and factory software, and a track record of improving productivity and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Receive, create, assign, and monitor all service work orders to technicians.
• Manage productivity of technicians, with a focus on monthly revenue goals.
• Provide ongoing training and skill development opportunities for technicians to enhance performance.
• Step in to assist with work orders and technician tasks during high demand or shortages.
• Assist branch manager with maintaining up-to-date employee files.
• Provide sales staff support with service quotes and customer inquiries.
• Oversee fleet work scheduling and related customer needs.
• Assist with warehouse duties and inventory control.
• Inspect warehouse, service bays, and equipment daily for safety and organization.
• Ensure proper branch opening and closing procedures.

Join Our Team as a Commercial Service Manager!

Snider Fleet Solutions is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Service Manager to provide the daily direction and distribution of work orders to technicians. In addition, the Commercial Service Manager provides oversight of work performed and ensures that proper safety procedures and processes are followed. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills are vital for this role, as positive teamwork is important for business growth.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a commercial tire technician
• 5+ years of experience assigning commercialservice work orders to technicians
• Proficient in MS Office and the able to learn other software (Maddenco, AS400, SAP, BTN, etc.)
• Commercial TIA certification (strongly preferred)
• Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain following employment)
• Valid Driver's License or state(s) equivalent and must be insurable to drive by company standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, create, assign, and monitor all service work orders to technicians
• Manage productivity of technicians, with a focus on monthly revenue goals
• Provide ongoing training and skill development opportunities for technicians to enhance performance and stay current with industry standards
• Step in to assist with work orders and technician tasks as needed, especially during periods of high demand or staffing shortages
• Assist branch manager with maintaining up to date employee administrative files
• Provide sales staff support with service quotes, product look-ups, and any customer concerns
• Oversee customer scheduled fleet work, scrap tire analysis, and other customer needs
• Assist with warehouse duties (inventory, load/unload, barcoding, scan billing, etc.)
• Conduct daily inspection of warehouse, service bays, trucks, and equipment in order to ensure safety, compliance, cleanliness, and organization
• Ensure proper branch opening and closing procedures are being followed
