Greyhound in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Service Lane Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on our fleet. You will interact with fleet drivers and manage service documentation to keep vehicles ready for operation.

The role requires a high school diploma (ASE certification a plus) and prior fleet maintenance experience. You will work in a busy service lane, follow safety standards, and contribute to reducing downtime through timely repairs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Previous experience in automotive maintenance or service lane operations is preferred.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems (engines, brakes, electrical, suspension) and basic diagnostic skills.
• Ability to communicate with fleet drivers and managers to ensure vehicle needs are addressed promptly.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and coordinate repairs.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine maintenance tasks in the service lane (oil changes, tire rotation, brake inspections, fluid top-offs, air filter replacements).
• Log and track vehicle service history and repairs for fleet management.
• Prepare service reports detailing vehicle status and issues.
• Coordinate vehicle movement in/out of the service lane to minimize downtime.
• Communicate with fleet drivers and managers regarding maintenance needs and repair status.
• Assist technicians with more complex repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean service lane environment.
