Job summary

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair GCPS school bus and support fleet for DOT and Fleet Maintenance.
Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections per standards and document labor, parts, and supplies.
Inspect vehicles using checklists and record results and actions.
Perform corrective maintenance and document repair actions and history.
Research manuals, service bulletins, and diagrams to guide repairs.
Provide and maintain tool chest and orderly inventory of hand tools and equipment.
Work assigned shift, including nights and on-call duty; train contractors as directed.
