Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Fleet Safety Manager to lead Safety Coordinators in executing the Traffic Safety Program and ensuring Driver Qualification File compliance. You will coach teams, monitor performance, and collaborate with Fleet Management, Risk, HR, and Legal to advance the Club Fleet Safety Strategy.

Strong data analysis and reporting are essential. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 6+ years in safety, 1+ year of leadership, and OSHA 30/CSP/OHST

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• 4+ years in a safety-related role.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local safety laws/regulations.
• OSHA 30, CSP or OHST certifications desirable; Samsara experience helpful.
• Strong project management, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of business line processes and procedures.
• Excellent business writing and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage Safety Coordinators to execute the Traffic Safety Program and Driver Qualification File Compliance.
• Ensure Safety Coordinators are prepared with necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Provide coaching and disciplinary action as necessary.
• Collaborate with Fleet Management, Learning & Development, Risk Management, HR, and Legal to develop Fleet Safety Strategy.
• Oversee fleet safety compliance across locations; manage PPE use and roadside safety.
• Develop, monitor, and interpret ongoing reports on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Identify trends in data; propose responses and action plans.
• Promote a culture of safety and accountability across fleet operations.
