Job summary

SAB is seeking a Fleet Safety & Compliance Lead to own the site’s safety and fleet management responsibilities in our Athol, MA facility. The role ensures compliance with the OHS Act and Road Traffic Act while maintaining sustainable fleet standards and governance across operations.

You will manage inspections, record-keeping, asset verification, and budgeting, driving safety culture, part of continuous process improvements and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders to minimize risk

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act, Road Traffic Act and governance.
• 3-year tertiary degree or diploma completed.
• 2–3 years fleet functional experience.
• Strong Excel/Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the OHS Act and Road Traffic Act.
• Maintain sustainable fleet standards at the site.
• Perform daily inspections and report fleet availability.
• Manage spare parts and inventory controls.
• Own safety pillars and governance across operations.
• Develop and enforce site procedures and SOPs.
