Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Fleet Safety Coordinator to support the implementation of Fleet Safety Management policies, manage driver qualification files, and ensure FMCSA and DOT compliance. The role involves overseeing ELD data, pre/post-trip inspections, and documenting incidents, while supporting training and regulatory reporting.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in safety and health (or equivalent) and 0–5+ years in fleet safety; strong organizational skills and proficiency with MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety and health or equivalent combinations of technical training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Audit and maintain Driver Qualification (DQ) files and verify credentials.
• Monitor Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) for hours-of-service compliance.
• Distribute fleet safety updates and assist with policy changes.
• Assist with incident documentation, evidence collection, and reporting.
• Identify training needs and support safety meetings and DOT/FMCSA training.
• Serve as a point of contact for safety authorities under guidance of Fleet Safety leadership.
