Job summary

Kokosing, Fredericktown, OH, is seeking a Fleet Safety Specialist 1 to provide field support and help implement the company’s Fleet Safety Management policies. You will manage driver qualification files, monitor ELD data, and support compliance with federal regulations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in safety and health and 0–5+ years in fleet safety. You will work with drivers, supervisors, and plant managers to maintain safety and regulatory standards in a high-production construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety and health or equivalent.
• 0 to 5+ years fleet safety management experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Audit and maintain Driver Qualification (DQ) files and verify credentials.
• Monitor Electronic Logging Device (ELD) data for hours-of-service compliance.
• Assist with incident documentation, reporting, and data entry.
• Support training, safety meetings and regulatory documentation accuracy.
• Serve as a point of contact for federal/state safety or risk authorities.
