Job summary

Waste Pro, USA is looking for a Maintenance Manager in Jackson, Mississippi, to oversee the management of the maintenance staff and functions. You'll be responsible for ensuring overall fleet/equipment support, conducting inspections, repairs, and maintaining vehicle distribution.

The ideal candidate should have 15+ years of experience in fleet management, strong project management skills, and a solid understanding of maintenance procedures and regulations. A High School diploma is required, and a CDL license is preferred.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive hands-on experience in fleet management, preferably in Waste Services or Transportation.
• Specialized understanding of maintenance procedures and industry regulations (e.g. EPA, DOT, OSHA).
• Ability to manage complex situations requiring strategic and tactical priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and supervise maintenance staff and functions.
• Manage hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling of work assignments.
• Maintain an ongoing preventive/corrective maintenance program.
• Oversee implementation and monitoring of fleet maintenance activities.
• Analyze service issues related to fleet maintenance and recommend solutions.
