Job summary

A leader in food and beverage manufacturing is seeking a Transportation Manager in Omaha, Nebraska. This full-time role involves overseeing the safe transportation of goods, managing supplier relations, and ensuring regulatory compliance in logistics operations. Candidates should possess a strong background in supply chain management, TMS usage (preferably McLeod), and have strong communication skills. This position supports a critical supply network during peak seasons and daily operational needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in supply chain coordination & logistics.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and dispatching.
• Experience with web-based freight/load boards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of products and collaborate with suppliers.
• Enter and track data within the TMS for visibility.
• Support fleet maintenance and ensure compliance.

Skills

4-year college degree or equivalent experience

Communication skills

Freight operations knowledge

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
