Job summary

Staker Parson Materials & Construction is hiring a Division Equipment Performance Improvement Manager in a hybrid role between office and field sites in Utah. The position leads equipment asset management, procurement/disposal, and maintenance strategies with an emphasis on reducing total cost of ownership across the fleet.

The role requires strong technical, financial, and leadership abilities, with about 60–70% travel.

Qualifications

• Ten years of progressive shop, equipment maintenance and equipment management experience.
• Experience with electronic equipment management systems preferred.
• Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office Programs.
• Experience in construction and materials industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employee-driven safety culture is present and effective
• Promote safe, effective, and efficient maintenance and repair practices
• Facilitate regular communication with Division equipment managers and procurement
• Ensure total cost of ownership is competitive or lower than industry standards
• Collaborate with Finance on CapEx budgeting and reporting
• Support CapEx planning with multi-year fleet strategies and standardization
• Provide feedback on performance initiative metrics
• Promote reduction of downtime and optimization of life cycle costs
• Advise on shop and equipment excellence programs including CMMS and TPM practices
• Drive innovation through new technology
