Job summary

Estes Express in San Fernando, CA, is seeking a Parts Inventory Clerk. You will perform parts inventory as scheduled, order parts as needed, and complete related paperwork and computer entry.

You will pick up parts from vendors in a company vehicle and maintain accurate parts counts, while reviewing all invoices and repair orders. You will collaborate with management, mechanics, vendors, and Corporate Fleet Services, and regular attendance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Inventory/Parts and/or Trucking experience is preferred.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s license.
• Good computer and math skills.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• International parts experience preferred.
• Ability to lift approximately 70 lbs or more.
• Must comply with company policies and code of conduct.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Performs parts inventory as scheduled.
• Orders parts as needed.
• Completes related paperwork and computer entry.
• Picks up parts from vendors in company vehicle.
• Maintains accurate parts count.
• Keys and review all invoices.
• Keys repair orders.
• Maintains effective working relationships with management, mechanics, vendors, and Corporate Fleet Services.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Performs other duties as assigned as needed.
