Job summary

Europcar Mobility Group in Seattle is seeking a Fleet Operations Associate to manage daily vehicle inventory and ensure accurate status across the rental fleet. You will coordinate repairs, recalls, and movements, while responding to vendor and internal requests in a timely manner.

The role requires hands-on experience in the car rental industry and a valid driver's license, with a focus on maintaining service levels and efficient fleet operations in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of office experience.
• 2+ years in car rental industry preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean background.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily inventory of all vehicles.
• Update the status of all idle and out-of-service vehicles daily.
• Monitor overdue rentals and take action as needed.
• Issue POs to vendors.
• Help with the movement of vehicles when needed.
• See that non‑rentable vehicles are vented for repair in a timely manner.
• Respond promptly to all email requests.
• Assist with fleeting and de‑fleeting vehicles.
• Coordinate the transfer of cars needing repair and/or maintenance to the respective vendor or facility.
• Assist with all aspects of the vehicle cycle, including arrival at the location and return at the end of the cycle.
• Assist with pulling cars with safety recalls out of service.
• Maintain an accurate status of the rental fleet — repair orders, vehicle transfers, and movements.
• Research any inconsistencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs and objectives.
