The company has developed an artificial intelligence (AI) powered technology stack purpose-built for commercial trucking and the public sector. The company delivers freight daily for its customers across the southern United States using its autonomous technology. In 2024, Kodiak became the first known company to publicly announce delivering a driverless semi-truck to a customer. Kodiak is also leveraging its commercial self-driving software to develop, test and deploy autonomous capabilities for the U.S. Department of Defense.
We are looking for a CDL Licensed Fleet Operations Trainer who thrives in fast-paced and adaptive environments, and has the passion to deep dive into all aspects of operations to build and refine the world's best autonomy training program.
This role is based in Lancaster, TX and will have some limited travel required.
What You'll Do:
- Implement and evaluate training programs aligned with organizational goals, prioritizing safety
- Assess training needs, develop materials, and coordinate sessions
- Identify future training needs and coordinate with Training Manager for program improvement
- Partner with subject matter experts to develop department focused new and ongoing training
- Maintain training records and foster a culture of continuous learning
- Proficiency in all operational roles, responsible for also conducting training
What You'll Bring:
- Experience in training and development
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in LMS and training software
- Ability to plan, manage time and multitask effectively
- 3+ years of recent verifiable Class A CDL driver experience.
- CDL required
