Job summary

Brady is seeking a skilled Fleet Manager in Greensboro, NC to oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance, compliance, safety, and utilization of a large vehicle and trailer fleet. You will leverage telematics and analytics to minimize downtime, improve safety, and drive total cost of ownership reductions.

The role requires leadership, strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA requirements, and experience with fleet management platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Fleet Management, Transportation, Automotive Technology, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of fleet management or related experience; experience with large geographically dispersed fleets preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations, vehicle registrations, inspections, and compliance.
• Experience with telematics platforms, maintenance systems, and fleet analytics tools.
• Proven ability to improve fleet safety, utilization, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives and drive driver coaching to reduce incidents and risk.
• Maximize fleet availability, uptime, and operational efficiency across states.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and DOT/FMCSA documentation and audits.
• Develop analytics and reporting on KPIs like downtime, cost per mile, and utilization.
• Support procurement, capital planning, and vehicle replacement forecasting.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service agreements for cost optimization.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure vehicle lifecycle management and upfits as needed.
