Specialized Marketing Experiences in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a Fleet & Driver Manager to oversee our vehicle fleet and supervise drivers, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-efficient transportation operations. A high school diploma and experience in fleet or transportation operations are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in transportation is a plus.
• Experience in fleet management, transportation, logistics, or driver supervision.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, driver safety, documentation, and transportation operations.
• Familiarity with driver logs, ELD, hours-of-service, and compliance.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple drivers, vehicles, schedules, and priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, fleet-management software, ELD, GPS/tracking systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to transportation emergencies when required.
• Integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation and utilization of company vehicles.
• Maintain records for vehicles, registration, inspections, insurance, maintenance, mileage, and fuel.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate vehicle repairs, servicing, inspections, and breakdowns.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and roadworthy.
• Assist with vehicle purchasing, replacement, disposal, and leasing.
• Ensure drivers have valid licenses, certifications, and medical cards.
• Coordinate regular driver safety training.
• Promote a professional, safety-focused work environment.
• Review driver logs for completeness and compliance.
• Monitor driving hours and rest periods.
• Provide guidance on log keeping and documentation procedures.
