Job summary

Crane is seeking a dispatcher/safety coordinator in El Paso, TX to ensure DOT and state regulations are followed, monitor Hours of Service, review driver logs, and promote a Safety First culture. You will lead safety programs, communicate expectations, address nonconformances, and help drive cost and quality control in daily operations.

The role requires strong communications, experience with dispatch or TMS systems, and a proven ability to collaborate with drivers, clients, and vendors to meet

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1–3 years related experience
• Minimum 1 year of industry experience preferred
• Experience working with dispatch and/or TMS systems
• Problem solving – identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner

Responsibilities

• Ensure all DOT and applicable state regulations are followed
• Monitor Daily and Weekly Hours of Service, review and audit driver logs
• Meet Accident, Injury and CSA goals through prevention
• Create a Safety First Culture – lead employee engagement
• Lead safety programs and communicate safety expectations
• Address safety nonconformance and violations/incidents
• Communicate with drivers, stations, clients, vendors and employees
• On-time pickup and delivery; documentation and support data capture
• Assist Operations Manager with planning and budget process; cost control
