US Foods in St. Louis, MO, seeks a Manager, Fleet to oversee fleet maintenance, drive safety, service, and cost efficiency. You will manage personnel, policies, budgets, and vendor relationships to ensure reliable fleet operations and best-in-class service for customers.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on maintenance oversight, and the ability to engage technicians across shifts. Expect a blend of office work and on-the-road duties with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of fleet equipment experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of DOT, Hazmat, and OSHA regulations.
• Possession of valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the fleet maintenance function and maintain a safe environment.
• Lead a culture of safety for associates, customers, and the public.
• Interview, hire, and train fleet technicians; schedule schooling and certifications.
• Ensure vehicles are in proper working condition and document certifications.
• Manage purchasing, warranties, and inventory; develop yearly budget.
• Assist drivers with specialized equipment and obtain competitive repair bids.
• Comply with OSHA, DOT, and Tax commission regulations.
• Produce reports including OOS and weekly metrics.
