Job summary

Caterpillar in Peoria, IL is seeking a Fleet Manager to fulfill customer contractual commitments in equipment management, production optimization, safety, and financial performance. You will work with customer executives, plant managers, and operators to deliver value and improve site operations.

Travel up to 50% and relocation support are available; visa sponsorship is not. This role is based in Peoria, IL and pays a substantial pay range with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Field experience with large mobile equipment and machinery
• Strong knowledge of equipment applications and maintenance practices
• Experience managing contracts to profitability
• Ability to communicate with executive and field personnel
• Understanding of production optimization and safety initiatives

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements and provide matrix leadership for contract execution.
• Achieve alignment among Caterpillar, dealers, and end-user personnel.
• Direct day-to-day activity with dealer personnel at each site contract.
• Deliver on contractual commitments leveraging Caterpillar and dealer capabilities.
• Provide solutions in a customer-working environment and ensure execution of value.
• Collaborate with Product Groups and internal units to understand capabilities of equipment and services.
• Develop innovative value-added capabilities to improve site operations and profitability.
