Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria, IL is seeking a Fleet Manager to lead customer engagements and deliver contractual commitments across equipment management, production optimization, safety, sustainability, and financial performance.

You will work directly with customer executive management, plant teams, and dealers to align stakeholders, drive value, and execute contracts. This role requires up to 50% travel and onsite presence five days a week with relocation support.

Qualifikationen

• Field experience supporting large mobile equipment and machinery with understanding of applications and customer needs.
• Knowledge of customer-focused values guiding decisions and ability to tailor solutions.
• Deep product knowledge with equipment and production tech, capable of profitable contract management.
• Understanding of decision-making processes and tools to reach productive outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including executive-level presentations.
• Knowledge of negotiation concepts and cross-organizational collaboration.
• Strong relationship-building to execute with Caterpillar, Dealers and customers.
• Ability to articulate value of products/services to address customer needs.

Aufgaben

• Lead customer engagements and provide matrix leadership for contract execution.
• Align Caterpillar, Dealers and end-user personnel on contract goals.
• Direct day-to-day activity with Dealer personnel for each site contract.
• Deliver all contractual commitments leveraging Caterpillar and Dealer capabilities.
• Define a clear vision for success and drive execution in equipment management, production, safety and financials.
• Provide and apply solutions in a customer-facing environment.
• Collaborate with Product Groups and internal units to understand capabilities of equipment, technology and services.
• Create value-added capabilities to improve site operations and profitability.
