Job summary

A leading mobility solutions provider in Peoria, Illinois, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance of a fleet of vehicles. This role involves diagnosing vehicle malfunctions, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing both scheduled and unscheduled repairs. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in fleet management and Cummins Engine Repair is essential.
• Preferred to hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related fields.
• CDL is not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctions and perform vehicle repairs.
• Oversee local maintenance compliance and safety protocols.
• Utilize EAM ERP application for tracking maintenance work.
• Manage preventive maintenance and unscheduled repairs.
• Supervise maintenance staff.

Skills

Experience with compliance with local DOT regulations

ASE Certification as a Master Automotive Technician

Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Attention to detail

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Mechanical background

Problem-solving skills

Education

5 years’ experience with fleet management company

5 years of Cummins Engine Repair

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, Logistics, or Transportation
