Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions seeks an Operations Manager II to lead locations with up to 131-370 units. You will drive labor planning, scheduling, and performance metrics while ensuring safety, quality, and service targets are met.

This role requires strong leadership, cost awareness, and cross-functional collaboration with sales and maintenance teams. You will oversee recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and staff development, while balancing fleet uptime with financial goals and compliance across

Qualifications

H.S. diploma/GED required.
Associate’s degree preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Three (3) years or more experience in an operations environment or demonstrated success in a Ryder role required.
One (1) year to Two (2) years or more Supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

Operations Management: execute work analysis, planning, scheduling and resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
Labor Management: supervise and develop personnel, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and succession planning.
Customer Management: manage customer relationships, ensure uptime and service delivery.
Financial Management: manage maintenance budget, cost control and vendor invoicing processes.
Asset Management: oversee shop assets, tooling, equipment, and parts inventory.
Quality Management: ensure quality inspections, root cause analysis and safety compliance.
