Ryder is hiring an Operations Manager II to lead shop operations at Mount Pleasant, TN. You will oversee vehicle planning, labor scheduling, and performance metrics to meet safety, quality and financial goals.

This role emphasizes team development, customer care, and adherence to standard processes. Expect to manage multiple supervisors and technicians, drive cost controls, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining a safe, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three (3) years or more experience in an operations environment or demonstrated success in a Ryder role required.
• One (1) year to Two (2) years or more Supervisory experience required.

Responsabilités

• Operations Management: manage vehicle planning, scheduling, and labor optimization.
• Labor Management: recruit/hire/on-boarding payroll and succession planning.
• Customer Management: maintain customer relationships and ensure uptime.
• Financial Management: manage location P&L and budgets to meet targets.
• Asset Management: supervise shop tooling and vehicle specifications and uptime.
• Quality Management: ensure safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
