Job summary

Venture Logistics, LLC is seeking an Operations Manager to lead trucking operations across multiple regions. You will optimize on-time delivery, safety, and cost efficiency while ensuring regulatory compliance and consistently high customer service.

You will develop and coach a team of terminal managers, dispatchers, and drivers, manage budgets, leverage a modern TMS and telematics, and partner with sales to meet SLAs and grow revenue.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; advantage for associate or bachelor’s in supply chain/logistics.
• Experience in transportation/logistics environment; familiarity with DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety protocols.
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to coach teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily trucking operations across terminals, dispatch, routing, and fleet management to ensure on-time delivery and service excellence.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of terminal managers, dispatchers, and drivers; foster safety, accountability, and performance.
• Ensure payroll accuracy for assigned drivers and champion a safety-first culture.
• Manage fleet utilization, maintenance scheduling, and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Own budgets, cost control, and performance metrics; identify efficiency and innovation opportunities.
