Job summary

Venture Logistics, LLC seeks a Driver Manager to serve as the primary liaison between the company and its drivers, ensuring efficiency, safety, and policy adherence. You will oversee a driver fleet, drive performance improvements, and support planning and load optimization.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and collaboration across planners and CSRs to meet enterprise goals with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience in transportation or logistics.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations is preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and supervise drivers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between company and professional drivers for efficiency and safety.
• Monitor driver performance metrics including on-time delivery and safety compliance.
• Provide coaching and corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure weekly load plans are understood and executed.
• Document interactions and maintain records in fleet system.
• Collaborate with Planners, CSRs, and Load Planners for route optimization.
• Communicate delays and service issues to stakeholders.
• Lead onboarding and orientation for new drivers.
