Job summary

You will manage a team of terminal managers, dispatchers, and drivers, drive operational metrics, and collaborate with sales to expand customer value. A strong background in DOT regulations and analytics is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years in transportation or logistics, roles like dispatcher, driver manager, or logistics coordinator.
• Proficiency in TMS platforms, route optimization tools, and data analytics.
• Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee trucking operations across terminals, dispatch, routing, and fleet management.
• Lead, coach, and develop terminal managers, dispatchers, and drivers.
• Ensure payroll accuracy for assigned drivers.
• Champion a safety-first culture and regulatory compliance.
• Manage fleet utilization, maintenance scheduling, and DOT compliance.
• Own operational budgets, cost control, and performance metrics.
• Drive efficiency via TMS, telematics, and analytics for visibility and decision-making.
• Partner with sales/customer service to meet or exceed SLAs.
• Support network optimization, capacity planning, and expansion initiatives.
