Job summary

Venture Logistics, LLC seeks a Driver Manager to serve as the main liaison between the company and its professional drivers. You will oversee a fleet, ensure operational efficiency, and drive safety and productivity in line with enterprise goals.

You will build trust with drivers, monitor performance metrics, provide coaching, and coordinate with Planners and CSRs to optimize routes and loads. Strong leadership and knowledge of DOT regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year in transportation or logistics industry.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to work with others and promote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with assigned drivers and understand goals.
• Monitor driver performance metrics and safety compliance.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Ensure weekly plans and load assignments are clear.
• Collaborate with Planners, CSRs, and Load Planners for efficiency.
• Handle delays and service issues with stakeholders.
• Maintain driver documentation and records in systems (license, medical cards).
• Conduct daily driver check-ins and on-call planning as needed.
