Responsibilities

• Coach and counsel drivers in safety, performance, productivity and morale.
• Direct and schedule driver's work; plan daily loads and backhauls to maximize utilization.
• Develop daily delivery plan using equipment, manpower and other resources to ensure efficient operation.
• Identify and resolve delivery and scheduling problems through timely communication with customers, drivers, vendors and other Ruan locations.
• Operate the transportation management system to capture required data in near real-time.
• Monitor and promote safety and compliance with company policies and federal, state and local regulations.
