Qualifications

• Five or more years of fleet-management experience in utilities or heavy civil construction.
• Strong working knowledge of construction vehicles and specialized utility equipment.
• Experience with GPS/telematics, fleet-management, fuel-card, and asset-tracking systems.

Responsabilités

• Manage the daily operation, maintenance, assignment, and utilization of company vehicles, trailers, and construction equipment.
• Maintain accurate fleet records, including unit numbers, registrations, insurance, inspections, warranties, service histories, mileage, and operating hours.
• Develop and manage preventive-maintenance and inspection schedules.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, DMV, BIT, CHP, OSHA, and applicable state and federal requirements.
• Coordinate equipment repairs, breakdown response, towing, rentals, and replacement units to minimize field downtime.
• Review repair estimates and approve work within established authorization limits.
