Job summary

Herman Weissker, Inc. is seeking a motivated professional to support our Underground Civil Division with project engineering and related personnel management.

The role focuses on ensuring project engineering activities align with contract requirements and schedules. You will provide technical support in construction planning, review design interpretations, and implement constructability reviews while ensuring safety and quality on diverse sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years construction project engineering, field support or similar experience.
• Possess or ability to obtain a valid California driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities. Includes personnel planning and administration, work assignments.
• Insures project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and supports overall construction schedule.
• Provides technical support for construction efforts including participation in construction planning; interpretation of design; application of construction methods; resolution and documentation of conflicts; constructability reviews, etc.
• Develops, implements and administers project engineering, project controls, and document control procedures.
• Represents the Company, project and/or department during A/E, client and project management meetings.
• Collaborates with field oversight to resolve conflicts, ensure quality of construction, and monitor timely execution of assigned projects.
• Follows all requirements of the company’s safety program. Takes personal responsibility for safety in working environment. Promotes safety among peers, subordinates and supervisors.
• Performs additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
