Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) is seeking a TMP Operations Supervisor to manage the Transportation Motor Pool at Fort Sill, OK. The role oversees drivers, safety, training, and bus readiness to meet Army regulations and contract requirements.

You will supervise personnel, coordinate dispatch and maintenance, maintain records, conduct driver evaluations, and report on TMP operations while ensuring high safety and efficiency standards. First shift, occasional after-hours support may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in transportation or motor pool operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple operational activities under tight deadlines.
• Experience interfacing with contractor or military personnel and customers with professionalism and respect.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of bus transportation and coordinate with the Transportation Department Manager.
• Oversee safe, compliant TMP operations at Fort Sill per Army regulations and SOPs.
• Recruit, train, evaluate, and supervise bus drivers and aides.
• Maintain vehicle, driver qualification, and equipment records; report TMP operations.
• Coordinate daily with Government and TMP customers to ensure on-time mission completion.
• Conduct driver check rides and post-accident road tests to verify competency and safety.
