Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) is seeking a Transportation Dispatcher to coordinate fleet operations, manage driver schedules, plan routes, and ensure timely delivery for the TMP at Fort Sill, OK. The role requires strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills in support of a US Army contract.

Responsibilities include planning daily TMP operations, tracking performance, maintaining records, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and supporting the Transportation Manager

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in fleet coordination or transportation operations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for coordinating drivers and routes.
• Knowledge of fleet operations, preventive maintenance, fuel handling, safety regulations, and record-keeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Commitment to achieving mission readiness in support of the Army and Fort Sill.
• Deliver safe, compliant transportation services and minimize safety incidents.
• Support Transportation Manager to accomplish the Army’s transportation mission.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute daily TMP operations.
• Track on-time performance, no-shows, delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain driver qualification files, logs, and required forms per policy.
