Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) seeks a TMP Operations Supervisor to lead the Transportation Motor Pool at Fort Sill, OK. You’ll supervise drivers, ensure safety, training, and bus readiness, and coordinate with government stakeholders to support mission completion.

The role emphasizes enforcing safety programs, managing schedules, and maintaining accurate records while aligning with Army regulations and contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in transportation or motor pool operations.
• CDL Class A/B with Passenger Endorsement required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work with contractor or military personnel and customers professionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bus transportation operations and staff under the Transportation Department Manager.
• Oversee safety, scheduling, dispatching, maintenance, and passenger movements per Army regs and SOPs.
• Recruit, train, evaluate, and supervise drivers and substitutes; maintain records.
• Coordinate with Government and TMP customers to ensure on-time mission completion.
• Conduct driver evaluations, post-accident testing, and safety briefings; report incidents.
