Whip, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Fleet Associate to manage our rideshare vehicle fleet and keep drivers on the road in Boston. You will help ensure vehicle readiness, coordinate logistics, and support day-to-day fleet operations to maintain an efficient rental experience.

As a Lead Fleet Associate, you will oversee vehicle checks, ensure clean and maintained cars, and act as the local point of contact for third‑party vendors, keeping operations organized and responsive.

• Strong communication skills with drivers, mechanics, and management.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine vehicle checks, clean interiors, and ensure all cars are road‑ready.
• Ensure all workflows for vehicle check‑ins/outs are executed flawlessly.
• Serve as escalation point for complex vehicle issues reported by drivers.
• Maintain 100% accuracy of vehicle status in fleet software; verify inventory and coordinate movement.
• Maintain constant communication with central operations and support teams via Slack, email, etc.
• Act as local decision‑maker for third‑party relationships; ensure SLAs with mechanics, body shops, and parking vendors.
