Element Fleet Management is seeking a Fleet Manager in Midland, TX to oversee client fleets, ensure safety and compliance, and optimize vehicle operations while coordinating with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams.

You will manage vehicle lifecycle activities, cost control, and data-driven improvements using telematics, vendor management, and policy enhancements. This client‑facing role requires strong communication and travel to designated client locations.

Competenze

• At least five years of experience in fleet management, client account management, or transportation operations.
• Strong knowledge of Land Transportation Safety Standards and IOGP 365.
• Proven experience managing vendors, budgets, and compliance programs.
• Understanding of fleet operations, lifecycle management, cost optimization, and safety requirements.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and relationship-management skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently to client locations.

Mansioni

• Oversee day-to-day fleet operations and ensure vehicles meet client policies and safety standards.
• Manage vehicle acquisition, maintenance, inspections, repairs, retrofitting, decommissioning, and remarketing.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, recalls, and breakdown response to minimize downtime.
• Serve as the primary contact for drivers and client partners, coordinating with Element teams.
• Maintain accurate vehicle records and support readiness processes.
• Use telematics data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage supplier relationships and support cost-saving measures.
• Suggest fleet policy and process improvements aligned with client needs.
