Job summary

Werner Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Fleet/Logistics Supervisor in Ocala, FL to build strong driver relationships and optimize loads. You will coordinate across departments to meet home time, payroll, and equipment needs, ensuring reliable service.

The role requires at least a Bachelor’s degree or 2–3 years in fleet management, with 6–12 months of supervisory experience, and strong organizational and computer/satellite communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics) and/or 2–3 years of fleet management/transportation experience preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to operate a computer terminal and satellite communications system.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships to meet home time, payroll, and equipment needs.
• Coordinate with Dedicated/Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads.
• Interface with billing, customer service, risk, safety, payroll, fuel, maintenance and external vendors to support operations.
• Fill and maintain a full board of drivers in cooperation with the Managers.
• Attend regularly and on time according to the shift schedule.
