Job summary

Bob’s Discount Furniture seeks a Driver Manager to lead transportation and driver operations, uphold DOT rules and safety standards, and drive cost-effective delivery across our network. You will oversee fleet performance, audits, and compliance while coordinating with internal and external partners to optimize schedules.

Ideal candidates have deep regulatory knowledge, strong decision-making, and leadership across teams in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience; 10+ years of CDL/transportation experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Proven supervisory or management experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of DOT HOS rules and transportation regulations.
• Working knowledge of geographic service areas and route planning.
• Understanding of labor laws and company policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation and driver operations while ensuring DOT/regulatory compliance, safety, and efficiency.
• Oversee company-owned and leased equipment, driver performance, yard and terminal operations.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery.
